On April 3, 2026, an agreement signing ceremony between the V.A. Musin Center and Kunayev University (Republic of Kazakhstan) was held at the Musin Readings 2026 International Scientific and Practical Conference. The ceremony was attended by Victoria Romanova, Director of the V.A. Musin Center, and Elvira Omurchieva, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, International Relations, and Commercialization at Kunayev University.
The cooperation agreement was concluded for the purposes of:
- strengthening international legal cooperation in scientific, educational, and expert activities in the fields of energy law, corporate law, and other related areas of law, as well as developing a legal framework for cooperation between Russian and Kazakh energy companies;
- development and implementation of joint educational programmes covering current areas of legal regulation for students, postgraduate students, master’s and doctoral candidates, specialists from Russian and Kazakh energy companies, and government agencies;
- organizing the exchange of experience between Russian and Kazakh legal scholars, postgraduate students, undergraduates, master’s and doctoral candidates, and energy company specialists through scientific and practical events and publications.
