The Youth Scientific Forum on Energy Law Low-Carbon Agenda: The Current State and Trends of Development of Legal Regulation in the Russian Federation and Abroad was held on November 19, 2021

The participants discussed the following topics:

Impact of the Paris Climate Agreement on the development of the laws of the member states limiting greenhouse gas emissions.

State support measures for organizations implementing climate projects in the Russian Federation and abroad.

Legal regulation of the market of carbon units in the Russian Federation and abroad.

The discussion was attended by students of Russian higher education institutions, the Sapienza University of Rome, young specialists in the fuel and energy complex, and representatives of government agencies.

We would like to welcome once again the students of Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL), National University of Oil and Gas Gubkin University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Bashkir State University, Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Far Eastern Federal University, All-Russian State University of Justice, Kikot Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Higher School of Economics, International Market Institute, the Sapienza University of Rome, and the representatives of the Youth Government of the Sverdlovsk region.

The event was moderated by V.V. Romanova, LL.D., Head of the Department of Energy Law of Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL), Chief Scientific Officer of V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization.

In her introductory report, V.V. Romanova drew attention to the key problems and trends in the development of legal regulation of low-carbon energy.

Summing up the discussion, the participants noted the relevance of the topics of the reports, expressed the hope for further development of scientific cooperation of young people on various issues of legal regulation in the field of energy, thanked the organizers of the event and all participants for the interesting discussions and interest in the event.
