The winners of the Russian Law Award Named after Valery A. Musin for the Contribution to the Development of Energy Law 2023.
On December 2, 2023, the eve of the celebration of Lawyer’s Day, a ceremony of awarding legal prizes was held in the Column Hall of the House of Unions, which was attended by Dmitry A. Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Konstantin A. Chuichenko, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, Valery N. Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sergey S. Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, members of the Presidium, the Board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, many government, political, public figures, representatives of scientific, educational organizations, the judicial community, well-known lawyers, and notaries.
The Russian President Vladimir V. Putin congratulated lawyers on their professional holiday in a welcome telegram.
On December 2, 2023, in the Hall of Columns of the House of Unions, the winners of the Russian Law Award Named after Valery A. Musin for the Contribution to the Development of Energy Law were awarded.
The winners of the Russian Law Award Named after Valery A. Musin for the Contribution to the Development of Energy Law in 2023 were: Vladimir F. Popondopulo, Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation, LL.D., Professor, Head of the Department of Commercial Law at the Law Faculty of Saint Petersburg State University; Vyacheslav Yu. Gusyakov, Deputy of the International Union of Lawyers, member of the Association of Lawyers of Russia on Energy Law and Development of Laws in the Fuel and Energy Complex Area.
The awards were presented by Vladimir N. Pligin, the Co-Chairman of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation, LL.D. and Victoria V. Romanova, Chairman of the Commission of the Association of Lawyers of Russia on Energy Law and Development of Laws in the Fuel and Energy Complex Area, LL.D., Professor, Director of the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science.
The ceremony dedicated to the Lawyer’s Day in the Column Hall of the House of Unions was attended by members of the Commission of the Association of Lawyers of Russia on Energy Law and Development of Laws in the Fuel and Energy Complex Area, heads of legal units of leading energy companies, such as Leonid Yu. Akimov, Deputy General Director of PJSC Rosseti Lenenergo, Aleksey Sh. Sharafutdinov, Deputy Managing Director, Chief Legal Officer, PJSC MOEK, Nikita A.
