The Musin Readings 2024. Actual Issues of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science, an international scientific and practical conference, will be hosted by the Russia International Exhibition and Forum on April 4, 2024.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Association of Lawyers of Russia.
The conference is held to honor the 85th anniversary of Valery Abramovich Musin, the esteemed Russian scientist and jurist, who invaluably contributed to the development of Russian legal science and personnel training. The exceptional professionalism and genuine kindness of Valery Abramovich Musin will always be remembered.
The conference is attended by Valery Abramovich Musin’s students and colleagues, well-established and young scientists, energy company specialists, representatives of state bodies, members of the judicial community, public organizations, practicing lawyers, postgraduates, and degree seekers.
The discussion will address various topics in energy law and modern legal science, including current trends in the further formation of energy law of the Eurasian Economic Union, BRICS+, and friendly states. It will also cover current issues in gas, nuclear, oil, and electric power law, as well as current trends in corporate governance and digitalization in energy companies. Additionally, the discussion will touch upon novelties in procurement activities in the fuel and energy complex, the development of special energy arbitrations, reviews of dispute resolution practice in the energy sector, and trends in state regulation and control (supervision) in the energy sector, etc.
The event is scheduled to commence at 12 p.m. at the The Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNH), Moscow , Pavilion 46 Energy of Life, Conference Hall.
Attendance forms and talking points will be accepted up to and including March 29, 2024.
The talking points of the participants will be included in a commemorative monograph dedicated to the 85th anniversary of V.A. Musin.
