On October 30, 2023, a videoconference round table was held with the participation of representatives of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science named after V.A. Musin and Hebei University of Technology. The event was focused on the Smart Energy program for the energy sector development.

During the event, Professor Zheng Lei presented his author’s program for developing the energy sector, Smart Energy. This program served as the foundation for five Smart City municipal projects in the People’s Republic of China, including Smart City Beijing
