Objectives and areas of activity

Valery Abramovich Musin - a well-known Russian scientist, Doctor of Law, professor, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences actively supported the development of energy law and new scientific directions in the Russian Federation, was a real mentor for young scientists, his memory is cherished by his students, colleagues, and friends.

In 2018, the Association of Lawyers of Russia established The Russian Law Award named after Valery Abramovich Musin for his contribution to the development of energy law. The award is a symbol of recognition of the merits of an outstanding scientist and a sign that the Association of Lawyers of Russia strives to support the development of legal science.

The autonomous non-profit Organization Scientific Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science named after V.A.Musin was established in 2020 by decision of Gazprom PJSC in order to preserve and develop the scientific heritage of the famous Russian legal scientist Valery Abramovich Musin, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the Board of Directors of Gazprom PJSC who has made a significant contribution to the development of legal science and education.

The Autonomous non-profit Organization "Scientific Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science named after V.A.Musin" is an innovative scientific organization for conducting fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of energy and other branches of law, developing on this basis scientific and practical recommendations for improving legal regulation, training highly qualified personnel in energy law.

The autonomous non-profit organization "Scientific Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science named after V.A.Musin" successfully performs research work in the interests of Gazprom PJSC and Gazprom Group companies, carries out expert activities, conducts scientific and practical events.
