The conference moderator Viktoria Romanova, Doctor of Law, Professor, Scientific Director of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science, Chairman of the Commission of the Bar Association of Russia on energy law and the development of legislation in the field of the fuel and energy complex.

The conference was attended by representatives of the scientific, expert community, energy companies, public organizations.

The participants of the conference discussed the urgent tasks of the development of energy law in the Russian Federation and abroad. Great interest was aroused by questions concerning: the formation of a common electric power market of the Eurasian Economic Union; problematic aspects of international legal regulation of interaction between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union; formation of tendencies and tasks for the development of gas law in the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China; development of international nuclear law; development of low-carbon energy in the Russian Federation, the Republic of Serbia, other foreign countries and many others.

At the end of the conference, the participants noted the extreme relevance of the areas of legal regulation discussed at the conference, stressed the need to fill gaps in legal regulation, eliminate elements of legal uncertainty and contradictions.

Generalized recommendations on the development of legal regulation in the fuel and energy sector will be sent to the State Duma Energy Committee, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, PJSC Gazprom.

Summing up the results of the conference, V. Romanova once again thanked everyone for their active participation in the preparation and holding of the Musin Readings 2023, for the kind and memorable attitude towards V.A. Musin and support in preserving the scientific heritage of V.A. Musin.
