On January 30, 2023, Viktoriya Romanova, Chief Scientific Officer of V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization, Chairperson of the Commission of the Association of Lawyers of Russia on Energy Law and Development of Law in the Fuel and Energy Complex, took part in the discussion of the draft concept of higher legal education at the joint meeting of the Presidium and the Board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia.
During the discussion, Viktoriya Romanova noted that it is necessary to improve the submitted draft in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented models of higher legal education for potential graduates and employers, stressed that it is advisable to ensure that the content of the educational programs is consistent with the subsequent professional activities, and drew attention to the lack of many professional standards.
