The St. Petersburg International Gas Forum took place on October 8 to 11, 2024
The St. Petersburg International Gas Forum dates back to 2011 It is now one of the most prominent business events in the gas industry, which annually gathers leading representatives of the global community. The issues raised at the Forum focus on the development of the Russian gas market and global trends in the gas industry.
The SPIGF-2024 business program events were held under the title Gas Market 2024: Contours of a New World Order and covered 19 thematic areas, including regional gasification, sustainable development, cooperation between BRICS and SCO countries, hydrogen, LNG, R&D in the gas industry, import substitution, digital transformation, etc.
The Plenary Discussion was attended by A.B. Miller, Chairman of the Management Board Gazprom, PJSC; R.V. Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan; V.M. Karankevich, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus; D.A. Kuchkarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan; P. Szijjártó, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary; A. Bayraktar, Minister of Energy of Turkey; S.V. Tsivilev, Head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation; Huang Yongzhang, Vice President of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
V.V. Romanova, Director of the V.A. Musin Center, participated in the Plenary Session, the Turn to the East: Opportunities for Cooperation with Asia in the Period of Sanctions international session, the round table Current Issues of Legislative Support for the Oil and Gas Industry, and other business events.
