On April 9, 2025, during the 2025 Russian International Energy Forum at the ExpoForum Congress and Exhibition Center, a cooperation agreement was signed between Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science and Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC.
The agreement was signed by Viktoria V. Romanova, Director of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science, and Snezhana Yu. Kitaeva, Deputy General Director and Chief of Staff at Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC.
Both parties expressed their interest in long-term collaboration and in pooling efforts to improve regulatory and legal frameworks in the fuel and energy sector, in active search for prospective forms of integration between academic research and educational practice and strengthening scientific and educational capacity.
Snezhana Yu. Kitaeva, Deputy General Director of Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC, emphasized the significance of the agreement with the V.A. Musin Research Center for Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC. Electric power law is an evolving field. Its development requires highly qualified energy law specialists – professionals trained at the V.A. Musin Center. She also highlighted the complexity of preparing such highly qualified experts in energy law, as it involves equipping professionals in the fuel and energy sector with a broad set of competences needed to work in energy companies.
Viktoria V. Romanova, Director of the V.A. Musin Center, expressed her gratitude to Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC, for the opportunity to sign the agreement at such a prominent event. She underlined the importance of the cooperation with Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC and affirmed the Center’s commitment to providing comfortable training for power grid professionals using modern remote learning technologies. V.V. Romanova noted that the Center continues the legacy of the renowned Russian legal scholar Valery A. Musin, who significantly contributed to the development of contemporary legal science and mentored many prominent students. She voiced her hope for long-term cooperation with Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC, in support of both the Russian fuel and energy sector and Russian legal science. The V.A.
