On April 4, 2024, the 2024 Musin Readings. Current Problems of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science International Scientific and Practical Conference was held at VDNH Pavilion No. 46 within the framework of the Russia International Exhibition Forum. It was dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Valery A. Musin, who made an invaluable contribution to the development of Russian legal science and training of personnel.
The opening of the conference commenced with a welcome address by Anastasia B. Bondarenko, State Secretary/Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation, at whose invitation the 2024 Musin Readings were held in the Energy of Lifepavilion of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
The event was moderated by Viktoriya V. Romanova, LL.D., Professor, Director of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science, Chairperson of the Commission for Energy Law and the Development of Laws in the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Association of Lawyers of Russia.

On April 4, 2024, within the framework of the Musin Readings, an agreement on cooperation in science and education was signed between the Energy Law Research Institute (the Republic of Turkey) and Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science. The agreement was signed by Süleyman BOŞÇA, Head of the Energy Law Research Institute, Head of the Energy Dispute Resolution Center (the Republic of Turkey), and Viktoriya V. Romanova, Director of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science.
In the context of the 2024 Musin Readings, the results of the 1st stage of the All-Russian Contest of Scientific Publications by Young Fuel and Energy Complex Specialists and Young Scientists were announced, and the contestants were awarded.
The welcoming part of the Musin Readings included the awarding of members of the Commission for Energy Law and the Development of Laws in the Fuel and Energy Complex.
The 2024 Musin Readings were attended by students and colleagues of Valery A. Musin, renowned and young scientists, specialists from energy companies, representatives of state bodies, members of the judicial community, non-governmental organizations, practicing lawyers, postgraduate students, and degree-seeking students.
The Musin Readings participants addressed the most topical issues in energy law and modern legal science, including trends in the further formation of energy law in the Eurasian Economic Union, BRICS+, and friendly states; topical issues of gas law, nuclear law, oil law, and electric power law; modern trends in the development of corporate governance and digitalization in energy companies; novelties of procurement in the fuel and energy complex; development of special energy arbitrations; reviews of dispute resolution practices in the energy sector; trends in state regulation and control (supervision) in the energy sector, etc.
