Conference objectives:
The energy sector is a key driver of economic development and public life support. The construction and operation of energy facilities require significant land resources, giving rise to numerous legal and practical challenges. Legal regulation of the use of such lands often involves contradictions between the development of energy infrastructure and landowners’ rights and environmental protection. In today’s context marked by the growth of renewable energy and technological advancements regulatory frameworks for this sector requires constant improvements.
In this regard, the exchange of experience and opinions between legal scholars, government officials, and business representatives is particularly relevant for developing modern approaches to the legal regime governing land plots for energy facilities and preparing proposals for the development of contemporary models of legal regulation of land use for energy purposes.
