A cooperation agreement has been signed between Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science (the Russian Federation) and the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (the Republic of India). The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences is headed by its Chancellor, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India. The university consistently ranks fourth in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of India, compiled by the Ministry of Education of India.
Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science and the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences have agreed to cooperate with the aim of:
– strengthening international legal cooperation in educational and expert activities related to energy, corporate, and other areas of law, and developing the legal framework for cooperation between Russian and Indian energy companies;
– developing and implementing joint academic and educational programs in energy, gas, oil, and nuclear law, international energy arbitration, and other contemporary areas of legal regulation for students, postgraduate students, and specialists from Russian and Indian energy companies and government agencies;
– facilitating the exchange of expertise among Russian and Indian legal scholars, postgraduate students, students, and specialists from energy companies through academic and practical events and publications.
