The event dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization V.A. Musin Research Center for the Development of Energy Law and Modern Legal Science was attended by: Sergey I. Sergey I. Kuznets, Member of the Gazprom Management Committee, highly appreciated the activities of the V.A. Musin Center, emphasizing the results of research and educational activities. S.I. Kuznetsov noted that the training of highly professional personnel is a priority for Gazprom, PJSC, and Gazprom Group companies. In his speech, S.I. Kuznets pointed out the most important fields of legal research for the gas industry, trends in the development of new technologies and challenges for lawyers of gas companies, as new technologies necessitate advanced training and continuous development. S.I. Kuznets paid special attention to the issues of international legal regulation for the implementation of gas projects.
Viktoriya V. Romanova, Director of the V.A. Musin Center, in her speech warmly thanked Gazprom, PJSC, for the daily help and support of the V.A. Musin Center and the kind and memorable attitude towards V.A. Musin, who was a member of the Board of Directors of Gazprom, PJSC, for a long time actively defended the interests of the Russian fuel and energy complex, and highlighted the priority tasks of the V.A. Musin Center, taking into account the needs of Gazprom, PJSC, and Gazprom Group companies, presented the key achievements of the V.A. Musin Center for the first five years of its operation, noted the goals and objectives of further development in the field of scientific, educational, and expert activities.
Anna A. Efimova, Deputy Managing Director and Director for Legal Affairs of Mosenergo, PJSC, also noted the outstanding accomplishments of the V.A. Musin Center in scientific and educational activities, emphasizing the utmost importance of the scientific and practical events conducted by the V.A. Musin Center. A.A. Efimova drew attention to the special popularity among fuel and energy industry specialists of the All-Russian Competition of Scientific Publications for Young Specialists in the Fuel and Energy Complex (FEC) and Young Scientists, the number of participants of which is growing, and the level of contributions arouses interest and respect. A.A. Efimova congratulated the V.A. Musin Center on its 5th anniversary and wished it further successful development.
The following first graduates of the V.V. Musin Center addressed the conference participants: Sergey S. Koshman, Department Head of Gazprom Export, LLC, who successfully defended his thesis for the PhD (Law) degree, Anna V. Kaptarenko, Chief Specialist of Gazprom, PJSC, the first graduate of the 2023 further vocational education program, who thanked the V.A. Musin Center for the opportunity to study innovative postgraduate and further vocational education programs and wished the V.A. Musin Center endless success and prosperity.

Nikita A. Nikitin, Chief Specialist of Gazprom, PJSC, topic of the report: Legal Regulation of the Execution and Performance of Shareholder Agreements in Oil and Gas Companies of Individual BRICS Member States;
Oksana V. Yamalutdinova, Chief Expert of Gazprom, PJSC, topic of the report: Transformation of Legal Regulation and Corporate Governance Systems in Companies in the Context of Transition to the Digital Economy;
Anna V. Kaptarenko, Chief Expert of Gazprom, PJSC, topic of the report: Transformation of Legal Regulation and Corporate Governance System in Companies in the Context of Transition to the Digital Economy.
Wang Zeyu (the People’s Republic of China), a representative of Cosmart Energy Ltd., made a report on the use of gas in the field of electric power and cryptocurrency mining.
The following postgraduate students of the V.A. Musin Center made presentations on the topic of the event: Natalya S. Khrameshkina, Leading Specialist of Gazprom YURGM Trading, LLC; Vladimir D. Lukashev, Head of Department of Gazprom Gaznadzor, LLC; Zhanna V. Dorogovtseva, Leading Legal Adviser of Gazprom Gaznadzor, LLC; Dmitriy A. Kuzin, Head of the Procurement Preparation and Implementation Group of Gazprom Expertiza, LLC.
Summarizing the event, S.I. Kuznets noted the extreme relevance of the selected legal research topics, stressed the need for their benefits for Gazprom, PJSC, and Gazprom Group companies and wished the V.A. Musin Center further success, active development and prosperity.
V.V.
